Many shows have been called Divorce Court over the years, a daytime show using the same premise of re-enactments of real-life divorce cases in front of real-life lawyers judges. Like many piece in Sick during this time, it seems to be a script they had that they related to a current movie or TV show and gave artist Jack Sparling a chance to draw pin-up girls like he had done in comic books in the past.

Apropos of nothing, here is a parody of one of the many reality courtroom dramas from that time in Kentucky Fried Movie, one of the many sketch comedy movies from the 70s that was ubiquitous during the birth of the VHS tape. This one stood out, being directed by John Landis and written by the ZAZ team that went on to do Airplane!. This sketch is full of what comedy writers call "Amelia Bedelia" jokes, literal interpretations of common phrases.
