MEAT FIGHTER

Street Fighter was a series of video games first. The movie here is being covered by Entertainment Tonight, which was hosted by Mary Hart, and this segment is coverered by John Tesh,
The movie takes place in the nation of Shadaloo, during a civil war between General Bison (Raul Julia) and William Guile (Jean-Claude Van Damme). Two of Bison's henchmen are Sagat (Wes Studi) and Dr, Dhalsim (Roshan Seth). Ryu (Byron Mann) and Ken (Damian Chapa) are conmen on who have been jailed and joined Guile's side in exchange for their freedom. Also on his side are Balrog (Grand L. Bush), reporter Chun-Li (Ming-Na Wen), and his assistant Lt.Cammy White (Kylie Minogue).

Parodying two shows at once, Entertainment Tonight was/is an entertainment/news show starring John Tesh and Mary Hart. They cover whatever is going on in media that day, but for this article they're only covering In Living Color, a sketch comedy show. The producer and host of the show was Keenan Ivory Wayans and a lot of the cast were his family, such as Damon, Shawn, Marlon, and Kim.
As a publicity stunt, Mary Hart's legs were insured by Lloyd's of London
One of their recurring sketches was The Homeboy Shopping Network. Damon Wayons was Anton, a homeless wino that carried around a pickle in a jar that was supposed to represent a turd and the jar his toilet.
Homey the Clown was one of the first 'bad clowns', with the catchphrase “Homey don't play that.”
Leonard Maltin, Entertainment Tonight's movie critic, introduces the In Living Color sketch Men on Film where Damon Wayons and David Alan Grier played two effeminate movie critics. They never specifically said they were gay, but there were plenty of innuendos implying it was the premise, because in the early 90s it was still acceptable for mainstream media to make that the joke.
Leeza Gibbons interviews Kelly Coffield and Jim Carrey, who were the only two white cast members. One of Carrey's most famous characters was Fire Marshall Bill, a fire marshal who inevitably ended up starting fires he was there to prevent. The Fly Girls danced on stage in between sketches. One of them was a very young Jennifer Lopez.

Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) is once again awoken from a coma having escaped in her last movie and landed in a penal colony on the planet Fiorina (Freedonia, a reference to the fictional country in Duck Soup).
Leona Helmsley was a real estate tycoon in the 80s and 90s.
She is the only woman on the planet which is disruptive to the prisoners and meets Clemens the prison doctor (Charles Dancer)
Clement tells her the rest of the crew is dead and they must perform an autopsy on Newt, the six year old girl, since she may be carrying an alien embryo.
She also must repair Bishop (Lance Henriksen), the android that was with them.
This was the debut movie of David Fincher. Although he's a big director now previously he had only been known for music videos.
He asks to be shut down.
Dillon was played by Charles S. Dutton.
Ripley and Clemens have an affair before he's attacked by the alien, which had hidden in the escape pod Ripley came in.
At this time, it was controversial that TV character Murphy Brown was a single mother.
Don Martin, long-time MAD artist, was poached by Cracked in the late 80s with the promise of more money and complete ownership. Here were the strips he did for that same issue.

Mary Hart was host of Entertainment Tonight and there was a lawsuit that her voice gave one of her viewers seizures. It was the plot for an episode of Seinfeld.
The Alien parody I posted also has the scenes I posted with John Hurt, Harry Dean Stanton, Yaphet Kotto, and Ian Holm.
