Splash panel homage to the original MAD Superman parody, which also had the artist's signature inside a poster on the side of a building. The series was about Andrew Clements (Jerry O'Connell), a high school student who lives next door to Dr. Jeffcoate (Derek McGrath), who is the only one that knows of his superpowers that he received accidentally. The story begins with Clark Kent (Gerard Christopher) at Siegel University, where he is a reporter for the school paper. The Superboy series took place at Shuster University, which are references to Superman creators Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster..

Superboy was classmates with Lana Lang (Stacy Haiduk) and enemies with Lex Luthor (Sherman Howard). Andrew used the air in spray cans in order to fly.

Andrew had a sister Erin.

The premise of the show is fairly simple. It switches between the worklife of marine commander Mac McGillis (Gerald McRaney) and his homelife. His wife Polly (Shanna Reed) is a liberal journalist. His Oldest daughter is Lizzy (Marisa Ryan), the middle child is Robin (Nicole Dubuc). Casey (Chelsea Hertford) was the youngest. At work are his secretary Gunny (Beverly Archer) and Lt. Holowachuk (Matt Mulhern)

Manuel Noriega was the leader of Panama in the eighties ousted and convicted of dealing cocaine. In the background are George C. Scott as Gen. George Patton and Oliver North, a marine colonel who shredded documents when on trial.

Showing off lingerie in the last panel is Delta Burke of Designing Women.

There was a scandal in the eighties with Pentagon contractors charging outrageous prices for everyday objects

Sgt. Bilko and McHale's Navy are the examples of earlier military shows.

Couldn't find anything with this (for free), all sources pointed to the later superhero film Deadpool, so I'll wing it.

This was the last in the Dirty Harry series. Harry Callahan (Clint Eastwood) has testified against Lou Janero and is famous for it in the press, and it is reported on by Samantha Walker (Patricia Clarkson). He dislikes the press coverage that keeps reporting on how he's now a marked man.

It is discovered that a recent murder victim, Peter Swan (Liam Neeson, not used here) was holding a betting pool that had Callahan's name on it. Callahan's latest partner in Al Quan (Evan Kim). Callahan destroys a camera that's sticking its nose in police business, then has dinner with Samantha Walker to apologize and agrees to an interview to avoid a lawsuit.

The betting pool, or dead pool, list of victims are being killed off and it is up to Harry Callahan and his partners to track them down.The murders duplicate the films made by Peter Swan.

The killer turns out to be a man named Rook (David Hunt), who manages to get Harry's trademark .44, which runs out of bullets, so Harry impales him with a harpoon.

”Go ahead, make my day” is a line from the previous Dirty Harry movie. The critics at the end are Joel Siegel, Siskel and Ebert, Rex Reed, and Gene Shalit.

Famous film shown every Christmas of George Bailey (James Stewart) contemplating suicide because he wasn't able to make a payment to the bank on time, angel Clarence (Henry Travers) reflects on his whole life's story and show's him life's worth living, and he's able to foil banker Mr. Potter (Lionel Barrymore). The story is retold again through the life of Bill Clinton with Richard Nixon as the angel.

The common ground of all the stars on the Yale walkway is that those people were students there. Hillary Clinton started as a Watergate lawyer.

“But I didn't inhale” was how Clinton dodged charges of having smoked marijuana. Gennifer Flowers and Paula Jones were women he was accused of having sexually assaulted. George H.W. Bush made headlines by throwing up on the Prime Minister of Japan.

Dan Quayle's big scandal was correcting a student by spelling 'potato' with an E. “Don't ask, don't tell” was Clinton's policy of appeasing both sides of allowing gays in the military. Whitewater was a failed real estate deal involving the Clintons that some believe to be a scam.

The intro to this leaves out that George's brother is a caricature of Martin Short.
