Hour-long drama about, well, a family, created by Mike Nichols and Aaron Spelling.

The main characters were Doug (James Broderick) and Kate (Sada Thompson), the father and mother of the show. The children were Nancy (Meredith Baxter-Birney), Willie (Gary Frank), and Buddy (Kristy McNichol)

Again with the editor pasting the dialogue in the wrong balloons (third panel). They do that a couple other times and I don't know what the hell is going on.

Nancy sometimes got back together with her ex-husband Jeff (John Rubenstein) and then split again.
