Hy Gardner Calling wasn't really a regular show but a series of specials with Hy Gardner, an entertainment radio/TV journalist, interviewing various celebrities it seems with the conceit that he was calling them out of the blue.
The first guest is supposed to be J. Fred Muggs, an ape that was the co-host of The Today Show. In the Dave Garroway Show post linked at right, you can see the cover he did for MAD.
