MAKE ME A DEAL
Cracked #88, October 1970
a: Bill Ward
Game show where contestants would dress up in outlandish costumes and hold signs for attention in the hopes of being picked by host Monty Hall, with a choice of blindly taking what the host has in a box, or what's behind a curtain or door, which could be some bauble, luxury appliance, or pile of cash.
Not sure if the contestant in the third panel is dressed is Charles DegGaulle or is Charles DeGaulle.
At the end of the show, in what was called “The Big Deal”, contestants could choose between what they won in the first half or they could pick (sight unseen, again) what was behind one of three doors.
