True-life story of undercover detective David Toma (Tony Musante), an undercover detective in New Jersey. His wife was played by Susan Strasberg. Musante did not return for a second season, so the show was recast and retooled with Robert Blake and changed to Baretta.
The last panel is Steve McQueen and Dustin Hoffman in Papillon.
