The student in the foreground in the Drivers' Ed class is Robin Givens, who was the star of the TV series Head of the Class and was married to boxer Mike Tyson.

The print teacher is Dustin Hoffman in Papillon.

As with many of the shows that were parodied in MAD, the cast showed their appreciation of the article in the letters column a few issues later.

Don't get a lot of the sight gags. Not sure if the misspelling of 'mousse' is intentional. The puns seem to be jokes on jokes, something you're told never to do in comedy.

Talking Blob was a recurring character in Cracked.

Guns N Roses had been around for three years by then.
