This was one of the occasional articles MAD would do comparing a movie genre of the past to one of the present. Though unlike others, you can't point to any particular movie they were parodying and they didn't caricature any past or present movie stars. This was about war movies in general, when veterans of both World Wars were still alive. I guess you could MAD was ahead of the curve with complaints about “woke”-ism more than fifty years ago.
