The main staff at McKenzie, Brackman, Chaney, and Kuzak and cast in the first season were Leland McKenzie (Richard Dysart), Michael Kuak (Harry Hamlin), Abby Perkins (Michele Greene), Grace Van Owen (Susan Dey), Victor Sifuentes (Jimmy Smits), Ann Kelsey (Jill Eikenberry), Stuart Markowitz (Michael Tucker), Arnie Becker (Corbin Bernsen), Roxanne Melman (Susan Ruttan), and Douglas Brackman (Stuart Markowitz).
The button on Susan Dey's jacket is a reference to her role as a teenager on The Partridge Family.
I don't get the significance of the 'Farrah Faucet' joke. The judge is producer Steven Bochco. In the corner of the last panel is Burt Young, who played Rocky's brother-in-law.
