Combination of several westerns. Lloyd Bridges is William Colton of The Loner, a former Union Cavalry officer who roams through the Old West and heads to Laredo, Texas.
Colton runs into F Troop and meets Private Dobbs (James Hampton) and Capt. Wilton Parmenter (Ken Berry), Sgt. O'Rourke (Forrest Tucker), Capt. Agarn (Larry Storch) and Wrangler Jane (Melody Patterson). Although F Troop was also about the cavalry, it really was a sitcom and would make jokes about Playboy and Vietnam.
In Laredo they all meet Capt. Parmelee (Philip Carey) and Reese Bennett (Neville Brand).
