Another movie parodied by Sick which came and went at the box office. I can't figure out why they chose this except so they could make sure they'd parody something that wasn't parodied by MAD. It didn't have stars they could swipe from other caricatures. Maybe they just wanted to make gay jokes.
The movie is about Sergeant Callan (Rod Steiger), a war veteran assigned to a post in France that falls for Private Swanson (John Phulip Law), who he comes on to in the way closeted men could awkwardly express themselves, scaring off his fiance, and shooting himself not being able to get what he wants.
