From Kids' Versions of Adult Movies. Days of Wine and Roses deals with executive Joe Clay (Jack Lemmon) who marries his secretary (Lee Remick) and their descent into alcoholism. Her father (Charles Bickford) gets them to kick the habit, it works for Joe, but not for her.
