THE DAY MR. SMYTH SAVED KNUT RIDER
Cracked #202, March 1984
a: John Severin

Mr. Smith was a show about a super-intelligent talking orangutan. It only lasted half a season and may have even been canceled before this parody. Knight Rider was one of the rotating TV shows Cracked would parody and have cross-overs with other parodies in the eighties. It was about a super-intelligent talking car.

Knight Rider starred David Hasselhoff as Michael Knight, who drove KITT (voiced by William Daniels). His boss was Devon (Edward Mulhare).
Mr. Smith (voice of Ed. Weinberger) was a political consultant in Washington, DC.
Mr. T. was another celebrity Cracked would exploit every opportunity they could.
As were Arnold from Diff'rent Strokes and Webster, ABC's answer that starred Emmanuel Lewis.
