This was a TV series that took place in the Old West about gambler Ben Calhoun (Dale Robertson) who won the Scalplock railroad and now must complete it with the aid of Barnabas (Robert Random) and Dave (Gary Collins)
Plots included things like having to overcome obstacles such as having to buy property in order to build on others' land. The show often had female guest stars.
I believe the cattle owner is supposed to be Richard Boone.

    It probably goes without saying, but 'Mr. Vanderbelch' in the splash is W.C. Fields, based off an iconic still from My Little Chickadee.
